How your data is handled.
SpendSync connects to your bank or card feed through Plaid, the same network that powers Venmo, Chase, Robinhood, and most major fintech apps. Your bank credentials never touch our servers. We see transaction descriptions, dates, and amounts. We cannot move money. You can disconnect any time from inside the app.
Receipts and transaction data live in a Postgres database with row level security and audit logging. Your tenant is isolated from every other customer at the database layer. Backups are encrypted at rest. We do not sell, share, or aggregate your data with anyone.
